From its humble beginnings in 1969, the Cottonwood Art Festival has developed into one of the most prestigious fine art festivals in the United States. Local artists staged their first festival at the scenic Cottonwood Park in Richardson, Texas. It was all tie-dye, bell-bottoms and braids back then where the artists laid down blankets and set up easels with the hopes of selling a few pieces of art. Since that first weekend nearly five decades later, Cottonwood has established itself as signature art event, become a tradition in the community and the home to the finest artists in the country for the first weekend of May and October.
On the third weekend of September, the park-like grounds of the Lakeville Area Arts Center in historic downtown Lakeville (population 60,000+) fill with 100+ premium artists selling their exceptional work including paintings, jewelry, ceramics, glass, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, photography, and more. The Sidewalk Arts Festival is a FREE outdoor event with more than 300 vendor booths featuring the region’s best fine art, folk art and craft artisans, as well as nonprofit organizations and food vendors.
Enjoy activities for kids, live entertainment, food vendors and more on the streets surrounding the Washington Pavilion. This event is a fundraiser for the Washington Pavilion of Arts & Science and is the region’s largest one-day arts festival.

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is proud to present its 36th annual outdoor, juried art festival -- the MUSEUM ART FESTIVAL in MIZNER PARK -- on February 4 & 5, 2023, in Boca Raton, Florida.
The MUSEUM ART FESTIVAL draws 40,000 to 60,000 art buyers and enthusiasts to the Museum’s doorstep every year. Approximately 170 artists and artisans from across the country are selected to showcase their fine artworks in various mediums, including ceramics, wood, fiber, glass, drawing, painting, mixed media, jewelry, photography, and sculpture.
The MUSEUM ART FESTIVAL is the ONLY art festival affiliated with the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the ONLY art festival permitted to occupy the full breadth of Mizner Park.
The Festival takes place on historic Canal Street and picturesque Riverside Drive adjacent to Riverside Park on the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. New Smyrna Beach is located on Florida's Central East Coast. All artists’ booths are located on the street. A food court of food trucks, entertainment tent showcasing outstanding musical acts, student art exhibit and children's art programs and face painting are featured in the park itself.
